Hosting the exhibition
Hosting the exhibition requires good organisation and fundraising skills. Whether you plan to exhibit at your local town hall, a gallery, in you basement or at the shopping street in you town, we will put the same effort into helping you through it all.
If you would like to host the exhibition you should first of all read through the information provided at this website. If you are interested but not certain how to proceed please let us know, maybe someone else in your region has the same idea.
We provide a fully designed exhibition consisting of photos and texts in high resolution pdf-files ready for print, give suggestions as to what materials can be used for printing of the exhibition. Besides we provide high resolution files with logos of the project, some photos and texts that can be used for advertising purposes. As a local organiser you will have the responsibility to find a printing house, print all the materials, locate places to hold the exhibition, and advertise it.
Therefore the costs that local organisers will incur are the costs of printing, making PR material, holding an exhibition, and a one time exhibition fee of 500 euro. The local organizers can hold the exhibition as many times afterwards as they want to. Neither WISE nor Earth-Vision profits from the project and the fee of 500 euros will be used to cover the costs of making it possible. In case the project becomes commercial, the proceeds will be donated to some of the organizations in Belarus and the Ukraine, which work with various issues related to Chernobyl.
Linking:
The project website is as important as the physical exhibition. If you run
a website where your target group may coincide with ours you are welcomed
as an "Internet partner". We will need to look through your website
to ensure there is no offensive material. "Internet partner" can
mean anything from having our banner and link to the final website of the
project to using our editorial material and photos as part of your own website.
